Weissmies 0 m From Hohsaas Hut
If you have mastered the Allalinhorn, you are ready for the Weissmies. After an overnight stay at the Hohsaas Hut (3100 m), the ascent begins early in the morning.
The route leads through impressive glacier terrain with towering seracs and a fascinating alpine landscape before reaching the final ridge. From the summit, you are rewarded with breathtaking views stretching from the Bernese Oberland to Monte Rosa and even to the Bernina Massif in eastern Switzerland. On clear days, you can even spot the lakes of Ticino and Italy in the distance.

Route overview
From the Hohsaas Hut, the route enters impressive glacier terrain beneath towering seracs and continues towards the upper glacier.
The final section follows the summit ridge to the highest point of the Weissmies. The descent follows the same route back to Hohsaas.
