Land high above the valley and enjoy a spectacular freeride descent from the Alphubeljoch towards Saas-Fee.
Glaciers to Mattmark
Continue with additional ascents and varied glacier freeride runs leading down towards Mattmark.
Difficulty
Fitness
Average fitness is required for a high-alpine day lasting approximately five to six hours, including additional ascents between freeride runs.
Technique
No previous touring experience is required. However, you must be confident skiing or snowboarding off-piste in deep snow, wind crust, heavy snow, and other challenging conditions.
All our ski tours are open to splitboarders. However, a higher technical level is required on a splitboard because transitions, traverses and flat sections are generally more demanding than on touring skis.

Alphubeljoch 3772 m
Following the helicopter flight, the first descent leads from the Alphubeljoch towards Saas-Fee. Additional ascents open up further glacier freeride runs towards Mattmark.
The exact itinerary and landing point may be adapted to the weather, flight, snow, and avalanche conditions.

Cable car tickets are not included.
Equipment
Touring skis or a splitboard, skins, a climbing harness, and an avalanche rescue kit are required. Technical equipment can be rented from Saas-Fee Guides, subject to availability.
