The Rimpfischhorn is one of the most remote 4000m peaks and cannot be easily accessed from any side. This makes the tour a true alpine adventure.
Starting from the Britanniahütte, you ascend over the Allalin Glacier to the Allalin Pass and continue via the Mellich Glacier to the Rimpfischsattel. The final section is a scenic and exposed rock climb (UIAA II–III) lasting about one hour to the summit.
