Allalinpass ascent
Climb approximately 400 m in two and a half hours to reach the Allalinpass at 3564 m.
Matterhorn panorama
From the pass, enjoy a spectacular view across the Zermatt mountains with the Matterhorn as the unmistakable highlight.
2115 m descent
Follow a long, varied freeride line into the Zermatt Valley, descending all the way to Täsch.

Fitness
Good average fitness is required for the 400 m ascent to the pass and the long 2115 m descent to Täsch.
Technique
Previous touring experience is recommended. Good off-piste skiing or snowboarding skills are essential for the long descent and changing snow conditions.
All our ski tours are open to splitboarders. However, a higher technical level is required on a splitboard because transitions, traverses and flat sections are generally more demanding than on touring skis.

Route
Allalinpass 3564 m
After an ascent of approximately 400 m, the route crosses the Allalinpass before beginning the 2115 m freeride descent into the Zermatt Valley and down to Täsch.
Depending on current snow and avalanche conditions, your mountain guide may adapt the exact route.

Cable car tickets are not included.
Equipment
Touring skis or a splitboard, skins, a climbing harness, and an avalanche rescue kit are required. Technical equipment can be rented from Saas-Fee Guides, subject to availability.
