The Backcountry Experience is available exclusively as a private tour, allowing the route, pace and objectives to be adapted to you and your group.

Fitness
An average fitness level is required for several hours of movement in winter terrain, including ascents on touring equipment.
Technique
No previous touring experience is required, but previous experience skiing or snowboarding in deep snow is necessary.
You should feel confident skiing or snowboarding away from prepared pistes.

Backcountry conditions are constantly changing. There is therefore no single fixed route for this experience.
Your mountain guide chooses the tour according to your ability, your objectives and the current snow, weather and avalanche conditions.
This flexibility allows us to make the most of the conditions and explore suitable terrain around the Saas-Fee region.

Lift tickets and rental equipment are not included.
Equipment
Touring equipment and an avalanche rescue kit are required. Skiers need touring skis, skins and touring boots. Snowboarders need a splitboard setup.
