Some regard the Allalinhorn as a training tour, others use it for acclimatisation, and for many it is a true holiday highlight – possibly the only 4000 m peak they will ever climb. Whatever your goal, it will be unforgettable.
Take on two spectacular 220-meter rides that launch you 80 meters above a breathtaking gorge. We’ll meet at the Saas Fee Guides office and make our way directly to the zip lines. After a clear safety briefing on-site, you’ll gear up and soar across the gorge with incredible views.
This traverse, combined with the descent down the ice-covered northwest face to Hohsaas, is one of the easiest and most beautiful mixed snow and rock climbs among the classic 4000m peaks. The terrain is varied and exciting, with enjoyable rock scrambling and a narrow summit ridge – a true highlight and often featured in iconic alpine imagery. The panoramic views from the summit are simply breathtaking.
Start of this day tour is at 3500 m, the Mittelallalin top station. The first part of the ascent follows the standard Allalin route to Fee Joch (3808 m). The traverse to Fee Kopf and Alphubeljoch (3770 m) offers an easy and varied high alpine ridge climb. The final ascent requires a very good fitness level and leads over the southeast ridge, known as “the ice nose”, to the broad Alphubel summit at 4206 m. The impressive backdrop of the Mischabel range makes this tour unforgettable.
This spectacular tour from Saas-Fee to Saas-Grund connects the two villages through natural canyons, caves, waterfalls and alpine vegetation. Expect zip lines, suspension bridges, pendulum swings and a final rappel.
This impressive tour across the Fee Glacier leaves no one untouched. Perfect as an introduction to high alpine terrain or simply to experience the breathtaking glacier world up close. Equipped with crampons and secured by rope, you’ll move safely through a landscape of towering seracs and deep crevasses.
